Built around operational reality
LinkSlate is shaped around the problems managers repeatedly face: changing schedules, incomplete updates, customer chasing, scattered records and too many places to check.
About LinkSlate
LinkSlate was created from hands-on operations experience with large teams, changing schedules, exceptions, records and constant coordination — not as a generic software concept looking for a market.
Founder context
LinkSlate's founder has day-to-day management responsibility for a distribution operation with roughly 75 staff, after previously managing teams of more than 60 people. That means dealing with rota changes, coverage, exceptions, records, shifting priorities and the pressure to know what is happening without spending the whole day chasing updates.
That experience is why LinkSlate centres on connected records, clear ownership, the latest operational position and visibility of what needs attention. The aim is not to imitate one specific industry; it is to remove coordination work that repeats across service businesses.
This is operations-management experience, not a claim that the founder previously owned every sector LinkSlate serves. Sector fit is tested through the workflow and tailored demo.
What we will and will not claim
✓We show public pricing and explain what onboarding pays for.
✓We explain security, backup and access controls we have actually implemented.
✓We publish our product direction without pretending roadmap ideas are already delivered.
✓We use a tailored demo to test fit around the customer's real workflow.
×We will not invent customer evidence before we earn it.
×We will not promise a fixed number of hours saved for every business.
Product principles
LinkSlate is shaped around the problems managers repeatedly face: changing schedules, incomplete updates, customer chasing, scattered records and too many places to check.
The goal is to adapt the platform around the business where sensible, rather than force every sector into one rigid workflow or create a separate codebase for every customer.
We do not publish fake customer logos, made-up testimonials, unverifiable savings claims or certification badges we have not earned.
A feature only earns its place if it reduces friction, improves visibility, supports revenue or makes the business easier to run.
